Join us at our upcoming meeting!
Our support group, a non-profit organization, was founded to provide answers and guidance to individuals and families navigating the challenges of limb loss. The group will be led by Co-Founders Shawn McKearin and Josh Watkins, both above-knee amputees who understand firsthand the journey you're embarking on. Having faced similar struggles, they recognize the importance of a supportive community during such trying times.
As new amputees, you likely have numerous questions, with the most common being, "Can I still lead a fulfilling and productive life?" We're here to tell you: YES, YOU CAN!
Our mission is to offer answers and support to individuals and their families, whether they're preparing for amputation or already adjusting to life with limb loss. From addressing immediate concerns to offering ongoing assistance as they adapt to prosthetic wear, were committed to being their resource every step of the way.
At our meetings, you'll find a supportive community where members lean on each other for encouragement and guidance. Remember: You're not alone and can still lead a full and productive life. Join us and discover that your dreams and aspirations are still within reach. See you there!
